Clinical Pilates is a form of exercise taught by physiotherapists, using Pilates principles to build core strength, flexibility and control. It is ideal for recovering from injury, managing back pain, and staying strong.

What is Clinical Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is a form of exercise taught by physiotherapists. It uses the principles of Pilates, such as breathing, core control, alignment and precise movement, but adapts every exercise to your body, history and goals.
Because classes are led by physiotherapists, Clinical Pilates is suitable for people recovering from injury or managing back pain, as well as those who simply want to get stronger and move better.
Benefits of Clinical Pilates
Improved core strength and stability, better posture, greater flexibility and balance, reduced back and neck pain, support for pelvic floor health, and more confidence in movement. Many people use Clinical Pilates to keep the progress they made in physiotherapy.
How our classes work
Everyone starts with a short one-to-one assessment, so we understand your needs and can place you in the right class. Classes are small, around ten people, so your physiotherapist can guide and correct technique.
We run general Clinical Pilates, back care, pregnancy and postnatal classes at weekends at both our Slough and Ealing clinics, plus private one-to-one sessions.
Is it right for me?
Clinical Pilates suits complete beginners and experienced exercisers alike. If you have a specific injury, recent surgery, or are pregnant, your physiotherapist will adapt exercises to keep you safe.
What to bring
Comfortable clothing you can move in and a water bottle. We provide mats and equipment.
